This one was really fun to do, and was done this year! I wanted to try something different technique wise, so to make a smoke like effect I dyed some cotton paper and glued it on so that parts are sticking up. I included some details because its hard to get a good photograph that shows everything.
I also changed morsi's design a little bit. Her waistbelt and innercloak are gone, and I like it.

She looks absolutely stunning here! Oh my that's brilliant n_n where do you get the patience to do such things? oh my, i can't... Anyway, i really like the shading in this one, it has its depth and colours and it's really ice to look at
Sketching and painting the elf took about 3-5 hours. Dying the cotton was about 20-30 minutes Attaching the cotton to the paper was the most time consuming part, and that took an extra 2 or 3 hours, not including drying time on the sealer.
I want to leave a big and in depth critique, but this is just too awesome T^T I love how the photographs show off that lovely 3D aspect you integrate into a lot of your art. it's very nice!~ the only thing I can spot that's a bit off would be that the nose is a little big, but that might just be me and my warped perspective on noses (I blame anime) but anyway, it's a great picture, and I swear, your anatomy just keeps getting better. the proportions are all very well done, and the pose is awesome~ plus the colors and textures used go together so nicely~ fantastic job bro! (or sis I guess)
Her nose is larger than average, but I usually try to draw her like that. Everyone has to have at least one very prominent feature, right, lol. Other than her cheekbones I try to use her nose, lol. Although on this drawing it is larger than I normally draw it... hmmmm!
The pictures show off my messy workspace too. lol I've seen lots of artists take pictures like that, and I like it. Its different c:
Thank youuuu~ You had lunch with me today and I didnt know until juan told me!
